Electric violin S1 model was designed both for professional as well as semi-professional performances. S1 is hand-made from selected spruce and maple wood, the neck and back are from maple and spruce.

Jan Lorenz was born on 5th July 1958 in Susice. His love for music brought him, after finishing the basic school, to the violin school in Luby, which he successfully finished in 1976 under the leadership of master luthier Miroslav Pikart.

Since 1992 he has been constructing concert and master instruments under his name for world-known company Akord Kvint, Ltd. In this company he sharpened his skills under the leadership of master luthiers Josef Dvorak and Josef Holpuch. Nowadays he cooperates in his professional development with luthiers Jan Poetzl, Michael van Berkum and Eduard Schwen.
