Vandoren’s Metal V16 Tenor Saxophone Mouthpieces are now available in several facings in three different chambers: Small, Medium, and Large. The new design and expansion of these popular mouthpieces appeals to an even greater number of sax players. Constructed from the legendary “Bell Metal” brass, then plated with 24-karat gold, these mouthpieces are powerful and offer the player excellent tone color. Cap and ligature not included.
T6 2.50mm tip opening with a long facing length, these are very versatile. Recommended reeds: JAVA and ZZ strength 3
T7 2.65mm tip opening with a medium long facing length. Recommended reeds: JAVA, V16, and ZZ strengths 2.5 and 3
T8 With a tip opening of 2.77mm and a long facing length, this mouthpiece is recommended for use with JAVA and V16 reeds, strength 3.
T9 The most open mouthpiece in the line, with a tip opening of 2.95mm and a long facing length. Recommended reed: JAVA Red strength 2.5
