El Esta’ndar (The Standard) – LBQ1 (acoustic) – This full bodied H. Jimenez Bajo quinto is designed with a well-seasoned and close grained resonate spruce top with no micas. The back and sides are rich Mahogany trimmed with maple and rosewood edges. It has easy playability with a strong voice to punch through and be heard. An 18 fret Rosewood fingerboard with the H. Jimenez signature laser logo and the special “Thunderwing”™ Rosewood saddle bridge are standard features.
LBQ1E (with pickup) Equipped with factory installed natural sounding soundhole Seymour Duncan pickup. This sleek passive no-hum design has a convenient on-board volume control and is wired directly to a strap button/end pin style jack.
All H. Jimenez bajo quintos feature a specially designed Rosewood H. Jimenez Thunderwing™ bridge with saddle for optimum performance, high quality natural rosewood fingerboard with H. Jimenez laser logo in the end as well as the H. Jimenez headstock shape and arrow rosette. All H. Jimenez bajo quintos ship with padded gig bag with logo and are covered by Limited lifetime warranty.
The bajo quinto is paired with the accordion in Tex-Mex, Conjunto, and Norteño music styles. The special designs of the H. Jimenez bajo quintos are the product of direct collaboration with a master bajo quinto luthier Hilario “Layo” Jimenez. H. Jimenez instruments ship with padded gig bag with logo and are covered by Limited lifetime warranty. All H.
