The American LX Limited Elite Dark Matter is a limited run model featuring Ovation’s well known textured finish in a deep black color. Under the opaque, textured finish is a AAA solid Sitka spruce top that is among the very best top woods in guitar making. The top also features our well known Elite Multi-port soundholes that contribute to the top’s resonance by virtue of their location, leaving the most resonant part of the top intact. The deep contour Lyrachord® gives the guitar a bass boost and the fast-playing Ovation neck plays like a dream. Ovation’s high output OCP1k pickup and the OP Pro Studio preamp offer incredible shaping of your sound through an easy-to-use user interface.
